Len Surtees competed at 2026 New Zealand National model Championship in January.
Len won Indoor Hand Launch Glider, Indoor Catapult Glider and Outdoor Tip Launch Glider, 3rd in Catapult Glider.

EXCITING NEWS from Len Surtees
After several updates and revising wing size the Brand New TLG STING 36 has emerged. Still has the swept back wing but now glider is very responsive to launching and transition and glide.
Also the name Predator has been removed and simply renamed STING 36. The wing now is available in three different wing materials.
1/ All balsa, 2/ Aluminum skinned hollow wing [ maximum stiffness ] 3 Fully molded composite { production wing repeatable none warping ]
Also the 15″ CLG will be offered as a standard version or fitted with a simple DT set up as this glider can be lost out of site in weak thermals.

The receiver, battery and micro servo are neatly concealed inside fuselage. The BMK transmitter is attached to arm , one press of button activates the servo which allows the internal spring to pop up the wing to bring down model from a thermal.
