MINI STING 6″ MK2 indoor catapult glider.
Wing and tail 4lb density, can be built under one gram in weight. Kit includes dihedral jig, all parts are cut to size, catapult wedge and launching rubber band with handle. Note – wing has a 50% flap and includes instructions on sanding such lite wood, trimming and flying. My best time for this fun glider indoors is 29.6 seconds hand launched ( this time was recorded in a category 2 ceiling ) so try and be the first to crack 30 seconds.
Please note: This kit is not suitable for a beginner, some model building experience is required.
STING 15″ MK2 Jnr – Catapult / hand launch glider
Ideal for 10 year and older beginners glider. Its simple to assemble in 20 minutes with all parts cut to size and wing 90% completed with dihedral joints and wing tips cut to correct angles. Kit includes instructions on trimming and flying, nose weight, wing dihedral jig, wax paper, sand paper, catapult handle and 3/16″ ( 5mm ) x 6″ ( 150mm ) loop of rubber.
This glider is capable of winning contests and ideal for school projects.
