Rules to be posted shortly. For first time indoor category 1 catapult and hand launch will be held same time as outdoor. Also there will be prizes for Juniors in both outdoor and indoor along with a lucky entrants prize drawn from a hat.
Indoor events are ” MINI STING mk2 6″ flown as catapult ( kits now available on web site ), The MINI STING mk2 6″ wing span has been a popular indoor glider world wide for 20 years and an open class with no restrictions on gliders but must be launched either javelin style or wing tip launched.
Josh Finn from J&H Aerospace will sponsor indoor prizes. Josh has many great indoor Cat 1 glider kits for sale.
Category 1 has a maximum ceiling height of 8 meters under the roof structural beams. Most school basketball courts and comunity basketball venues are Cat 1 so finding a hall to fly in is not too difficult.
